Energy Performance Certificates for the private homeowner
All EPCs conducted by Footprint Environmental Solutions are carried out by a fully trained and accredited Domestic Energy Assessor. During the audit, the assessor records relevant bits of information about your home such as its dimensions, heating system and thermal properties. This data is later fed into a sophisticated computer programme which determines the energy performance and environmental impact of the property, which is represented on the final certificate.
The software also highlights areas of weakness (i.e. where the home is losing energy unnecessarily) to produce tailored lists of the most cost-effective improvement measures to cut fuel consumption, energy bills and CO2 emissions. This information is provided with the EPC and potential ratings are represented on the A to G scale side by side with the current ratings.
Fees
Our extremely competitive charges for an EPC range from £50 to £100+ (excl. VAT), depending on the size, location and complexity of the property. Private homeowners who commission an EPC through Footprint Environmental Solutions are eligible for a 10% discount on any products bought from this site within six months of their audit.
