At Footprint Environmental Solutions we provide expert professional advice and in-depth energy analysis to homeowners and organisations on how to improve their environmental credentials by making sustainable and cost-effective changes to their properties and lifestyles. And since such an intrinsic part of protecting the environment is by limiting waste, many of the measures we advise cost very little or nothing at all to implement and actually save our clients money.
Our core activity is in carrying out quality-assured, Government-supported home energy audits for individuals and housing stock holders, and providing advice on home improvement measures to maximise energy efficiency.
Our online shop stocks an ever-increasing range of innovative and cutting-edge energy saving and environmentally-friendly products. Many of the items focus on energy conservation and renewables, while others are aimed at encouraging the use of recycled materials, promoting ethical trade and harbouring interest in environmental issues in fun and innovative ways.

Footprint Environmental Solutions Ltd is a fully certified member of the National Energy Centre’s BSI-accredited National Home Energy Rating (NHER) scheme which is affiliated with the Federation of Authorised Energy Rating Organisations (FAERO).
All employees are registered NHER site assessors authorised to issue SAP and NHER ratings and monitored on a continuous basis.
The company’s director is the East of England’s former Environmental Journalist of the Year, Hugh Bowring. Hugh gave up his career in writing to follow his passion for protecting the environment.
